What we collect
When you place an order we collect your name, email, phone number, delivery address and payment details. Payments are processed by Stripe — we do not store your full card number on our servers. Checkout and shipping details are entered on Stripe’s hosted payment page.
If you email or phone us, or use our contact form, we keep the details you provide so we can reply.
If you choose to sign up for email updates at checkout, we collect your email address with your consent.
How we use your information
- To fulfil and deliver your order
- To send order confirmations and receipts (including Stripe’s payment receipts)
- To notify us of new orders so we can fulfil them
- To answer enquiries
- If you opted in: to send marketing updates about Norfolk Boards products and news — you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in those emails
- To meet legal and accounting requirements
Order and enquiry emails are transactional. Marketing emails are only sent if you opt in. Placing an order does not automatically add you to our marketing list.
Sharing
We share order information with Stripe (payment processing) and, where needed, delivery partners. Marketing signups are stored with our email provider (Resend) so we can send updates and honour unsubscribe requests. We do not sell your personal data.
Cookies
We use essential storage (for example your shopping basket in the browser) so the shop works. Analytics may be added later; we will update this page if we do.
Your rights
You may ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing info@norfolkboards.com.
